Where to start on a review of this eye-opening book? (And upcoming movie!) There is a lot to unpack in this well-written factual expose of the hypocrisy of the mass media and what counts as "journalism" today. Fake News truly does abound and we are a dumber angrier country because of it. It's almost as if the MSM is conducting military styled information operations ie propaganda with the same talking points flowing across every news medium available. Journalists have become lazy hacks and still wonder why they are no longer trusted by anyone with half a brain. They have become a part of the leftist side of the political spectrum. This book simply interviews numerous thought leaders on both sides of the aisle. It's not a book for dumb people. It will make you think; perhaps challenge your thought patterns unless your are well... Dumb. It's not a quick read because you will want to re-read every chapter to soak up the common sense knowledge within. I didn't agree with every answer to the questions within but it did expand my horizons. It's not politically correct. And what's telling is the fear thought leaders on the left have for their own safety if they step outside the groupthink lines.
Mike Cernovich is my friend. I know this because he entrusted me to edit the nearly 130,000 words of interview transcriptions from his Hoaxed movie. It was no small feat, but was the most rewarding and challenging assignment I’ve ever been asked to tackle. It has nothing to do with which “side†anyone’s political leanings fall.
