About the Author

Hi - my journey into the financial markets was prompted by a desire to make sense of the jargon filled replies I usually received when asking any financial adviser, the simplest of questions. Clearly they believed as a mere woman, I was incapable of understanding the complexities of the markets. This prompted my desire to learn, and since then I have been involved in every aspect of trading and investing for over seventeen years. Now at last, I have the luxury of time, to devote the next phase of my life to writing a series of books with one aim. However, English was not my first language, having arrived in the UK from Italy at the tender age of three. She proffers a "clean" chart. So simple without all the myriad analyses lines and numbers generated from one simple datum....the PRICE. All you really need is price, volume, support, resistance and candlesticks (and just a mere few of those). What a pleasure looking at an uncomplicated chart. For the first time I am consistently making money as a swing trader, using 5m,15 m, 1H and 1 day time frames. The 1h and 1D are for establishing the support & resistance lines. I do the analysis and make the trade in the 15m...the 5m is used for entry/exit timing only.However, though the text and concepts are 5 star, the small black and white charts with tiny candlesticks in two shades of grey are almost unintelligible.

This is the second book by Anna C. that I have read. I like the way she writes; putting the complicated items of all currencies and related economics into simpler and usable terms and idea pictures that I can relate to. I read slowly as a rule, just for the enjoyment of the journey, but her books I not only enjoy slowly but find myself re-reading parts and often stopping to think about what she has just written. File this book under: Thought Provoking, Very Informative, Very Useful.

Big props to the author as i really enjoyed this book...to be honest it was even better than john murphy's intermarket analyis.Very well written, and by that I mean that everything is explained with a degree of simplicity leaving out the majority of unnecessary information thats useless for trading. Reading this with prior experience in the field allows u to appreciate it even more.its important to understand that this in not a trading system....but more importantly its an "approach" to how to analyze, prepare and overall read the market.the burden of turning this analysis into money will always lie on each individual trader and their specific trading approach.(im new to the volume analysis stuff...but has been a useful tool for me with very short term trading)

Local influences as well as the influence in each of the countries by Forex pairs is covered in-depth.Only wish Anna would publish an update ;)

I have just finished reading A Three Dimensional Approach to Forex Trading. It has provided me with a clear path to trading. I have read many books on the subject but this information provides a clear and concise approach as to what information to obtain about the currencies. Such as, interest rates for carry trade, import & export statistics, etc. The section on VPA was especially helpful. This book has provided me with the knowledge and confidence to make educated and informed decisions to make successful trades.

I learned much from this book because it gets very deeply into the subject matter. While I am trading differently now, with a mathematical algorythm not requiring fundamentals of any of those things, I believe the information here is valuable. This book has given me a new perspective on forex trading. I was taken on a journey that explained all the elements involved in the forex market. With the new insights and updating of old concepts, i believe i now have a very good chance of making it as a successful forex trader.

Really, this the most detailed and honest book about forex trading I have ever read. The author puts a lot of emphasis not only on providing and explaining facts, but also on debunking common myths or fallacies. I have never spent 6 bucks in a wiser way than buying this book. It really opens your eyes and your mind about the underground processes in the currency markets. Surely the amount of information in the book is overwhelming - don't expect to put everything in your head at once. While the book has detailed discussions on many topics, the authors do a great job providing thorough explanations that are approachable for someone knew to the subject. The extensive reference list is very helpful when looking to delve further into a particular topic discussed in the book.I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in atmospheric processes and habitability.

Full disclosure: I received a free inspection copy of this book.I was delighted when this book was published - it is the first thorough textbook in planetary habitability. This book has clear derivations of the key formulae, and good warnings on approximations. The discussion throughout is rich, readable and rewarding (the reference list is ~100 pages long). Overall it is too detailed to be used as the sole textbook for a grad course, but I am using selections from this book as part of the required reading for a grad-level course in planetary habitability at the University of Chicago. For researchers in the field, this is a required reference - analogous to de Pater and Lissauer for planetary scientists. The book is both broad and thorough, emphasizing solar system data but with an eye to exoplanet-relevant processes throughout. I was particularly impressed that the authors' presentation is balanced between historical science (what happened and why on particular planets/moons) and basic physics and chemistry (which should be generalizable to all planets). This is a contrast with earlier (1980s) texts which emphasized either planetary history or atmospheric physics/chemistry but not both. As might be expected given the research interests of the authors, the influence of geodynamics, planet formation, and planetary interiors on atmospheric evolution does not receive a detailed treatment. However, the literature on these questions does not really exist yet. This is a young field, and there is a lot of work to be done!

I have read and enjoyed this author's other books for years. I, therefore, had high hopes for Its Our Prom.Unfortunately, the issue, for me, with this book was the characters, I just did not like most of them and, while this usually is not a problem for me, in this case, it seriously removed most of the fun for me.Azure - wow! What a spoiled brat. While she is busy lobbying for diversity and acceptance, she was probably the worst offender when it came to judging people and feeling superior. I found myself truly disliking her in many instances as I kept expecting her to start stamping her foot and holding her breath until she got what she wanted. It was hard for me to stand by her when she was actually saying something that I agreed with. I also questioned her motives throughout most of the book. I also did not understand her love for her best friend. As far as I could tell from the backstory, Radhika, her best friend is straight and never gave Azure reason to believe otherwise, yet, Azure kept obsessing over asking her for Prom. I could not understand where this was coming from and the author did nothing to set up the premise.Radhika - I think I missed a focal point in this novel. Why on earth were so many people `in love' with her? She was probably the least fleshed out character. All she seemed to do was study and follow her parent's directives. She did not seem to have much of a personality and appeared to be removed most of the time. Yet, she seemed to be the center of everyone's attention all the time without any valid reasons. Here again, the premise was not set up properly.Luke was an okay character. He was funny and certainly relieved some of the more tension filled moments. I also did not understand his relationship with Radhika.What worked for me best in this story were the secondary characters. I loved the relationship between Azure and her dad. I also thought the Owen and Luke relationship was worth exploring more. As for Mrs. Flacco, seriously - someone should have just smacked her upside the head.Overall, the story is good, but the character development (and growth) was lacking.

This is the first book that I have read by Julie Anne Peters that was just okay for me, I usually can't put her books down and love the charectors, but this one just seemed lacking. Peters still remains my favorite author, and the book was good, just not as good as I have come to expect from her.

I was hoping for a little more interesting book. Julie Anne's Keeping you A Secret was much better in my opinion.

The book was in good condition. It did not have any tears, just a couple of bent corners. Overall Good!

And then I got a hand signed book plate by Julie Anne Peters! Squee! There are few things I would get even vaguely fan-girl-y about, but this is one of them for sure.Sadly, the book was a bit different to the others Peters has written, and I wasn't as convinced by the characters as I usually am. This novel used the technique of splitting between Azure (a lesbian) and Luke (a bisexual) for perspective.I liked Azure, and felt more in common with her. However, I didn't get the same sense of her being super chatty from within her perspective as I did from Luke. Sometimes it seemed like she was a totally different person. Her relationship with her dad though was a very positive one, as was her pespective on not judging others (most of the time).Luke was a character of contradictions for me. He seemed like he was very flamboyant, and that was why his brother hated him so much, but then it wasn't all that clear because his brother did care in a strange way. And then there was his crush on Radhika, but then his play and everything at the same time. Not to mention it seemed like he never did homework!Now to the storyline (a bit back to front I know). One word and one person: Prom, Radhika. Both Azure and Luke want to go to the prom with Radhika, but she doesn't like either of them in that way (or does she), given that they have been friends for forever! I think I read somewhere that originally Radhika had a perspective as well, but that this was then removed from the book. A pity, I would have liked to hear a bit more from her.The end of the novel was altogether too happy for my liking. Others who love that kind of ending will probably be satisfied though. The same goes for the school settings they find themselves in - it is amazing that everyone is so diverse and accepting. It's not something that has happened in Australia yet as far as I can tell, but I'd love to see a real high school in the US that has it.I could have given this book three stars, but then reconsidered up to four. I didn't hate it, and it's probably not a desperate reread for me in the same way that Keeping You a Secret is, but it was reassuring to read it.

Azure, Luke, and Radhika have been best friends for a very long time. Yet it seems as if senior year is the year everything starts to change. Azure is in love with Radhika, Luke's in love with Radhika, and Radhika just wants to get away from her parents' rules. It's Our Prom is told from both Azure and Luke's perspectives. Now Azure's been asked to join the prom committee (prom com) to plan an alternative prom - a more inclusive prom. Azure drags Luke and Radhika into the prom com and things start to go downhill. Can the friends remain friends and salvage the prom?It's Our Prom wasn't my favorite Julie Anne Peters novel. I felt the main characters were overly selfish and self-centered. Teenagers can be both of those, but this seemed over the top. They were consumed with their preconceived notions and judgments of others. This is even though they were trying to be "inclusive" with the alternative prom. I did like the fact that by the end of the book, the characters learned they people aren't always so different from themselves.

Interesting book

Although it's a huge book, it only discusses basic topics that are only useful for amateurs who've never heard about facilities before. I don't recommend this book for professionals. I can't believe it was published by Association for Facilities Engineering. The only good side is that it covers a wide range of topics.

The book appears to be brand new. Thank you for the great product

Excellent cookbook

Good recipes. Mandy Patinkin is a favorite of mine.

Delicious recipes and fun to read.

Love this Jewish Cookbook but I love having pictures also to show what my food should look like. The pictures are in red and white...disappointed in that part. The cookbook offers lots of recipes but not in color.

I love this cookbook! I'm biased because she's my grandmother, though...but seriously, try the gazpacho mold :)

Made the chicken soup and pureed the vegetables which made a much creamer soup. It was delicious.

What a disappointment. Although this cookbook has some interesting recipes and could probably be considered a good cookbook, it is definitely not a Jewish cookbook. Several of the recipes include shrimp and crab meat and a number of the menus combine meat and dairy. The preface includes a statement that the book "is not a kosher cookbook" but the online description failed to include that warning.

There must have been an entire spread of 4-6 pages that were edited out of this book as the story just made no sense. As the grownup, I was able to fill in the gaps for my kids, but wow, honestly a poor story and would not recommend.Lets be honest, the 5 star reviews are from fans of the author who is an Instagram celeb. My wife is a fan as well, and asked me to write the review since she felt bad writing it. I am writing it as I would any other review, just the facts.The illustrations are really good though. However, once again it seems like at times they were so disconnected from the story line, it threw me off as the drawing seemed like she was back in the real world, but then 2 pages later you find out she is back home. I had to do a double take as once again I thought I missed a page!I think the story could have been really good, but I guess they needed to fit the page count into something under xzy pages and thus some pages ended up on the editing room floor.

I wanted to like this book, I really did. I have been following Eva Chen for a while, love her bubbly personality, and when she announced her book I was really intrigued - loved the premise of a little girl putting herself in other people's shoes, and learning from the great women she meets.Unfortunately I found this book lacking in several areas:- As a lover of children books, I found the rhythm of this story to be choppy even though I could see Eva's bubbly personality in there. How Juno goes from one icon to the other so quickly, how little is said/shared about them. The story felt rushed in a way. As another reviewer mentioned, maybe a few pages were cut down in the editing room?- As a mother of girls, I am not sure how I feel about the message of her adventure shoes being her favorite shoes at the beginning of the story -because of what they allow her to do, go on adventures- regardless of how fancy other girls' shoes look, to those same shoes becoming "not enough" at the end of the story, and they need to be changed and in the end looking like the shoes that other girls wore at the beginning of the story. I am guessing the message that Eva Chen wanted to go for was that Juno was using her creativity to change her shoes and make them her own, but instead this part of the story left a materialistic taste in my mouth.- The illustrations definitely have their own interesting style - and while it is not my personal favorite, what really bothered me here is the fact that the skin color of a lot of the black female icons (Williams, Copeland, Oprah) looks nearly the same as the skin color of the white female icons in the book. Just a big no no for a book that wants to celebrate diversity.Overall, I found this book quite superficial unfortunately.

I love Eva Chen and I am not surprised she wrote such a cute tale about a little girl who gets to explore different personalities through fashionable shoes. I am a fan of this book and so are my girls, ages 1 and 4. The only thing I wish was different would be clearer and larger illustrations of the shoes. It was a little weird for a story to be about the shoes, but you could hardly see them on the character. I am happy with this sweet addition to our library!

Yikes! I got carried away by the hype and excitedly purchased this for my 3.5 year old. I loooove books and love buying them for my daughter. We finished reading it with a confused sigh. The story was uneven, random and rushed. The "journey" through the badass women's lives felt superficial and was lacking suficient information and imagination to interest either of us. To add salt to injury the shoe illustrations were too small. As someone else already commented it really did feel like book pages were missing. I love Eva and I follow her on Instagram but this book is not good at all.

I admit that I bought this book because I follow Eva Chen on Instagram and like her a lot, but the story is not well fleshed out. Dialogue and description are missing from the story so you have to fill in the blanks yourself when reading it to your child. There are no descriptions of the actual shoes that Juno tries on, and there is no explanation of who each of the women are in the story, so you have to fill in what they've done and why it is significant for your child. There is a reference page in the back that states who each woman is and why she is famous, but if you don't already know, then you have to flip back and forth.The best/only good thing about this book is the illustrations, which are beautiful, colorful and creative.

This book was the perfect way to introduce some bad ass women to my 3 year old! She keeps asking about Marie Curie, Oprah, and Lady Gaga and no longer wants to be "just a princess" but a Queen like Queen Elizabeth.She also tells random people that she saw their shoes in her "magic book".As for the illustration, as much as I love how unique and colorful they were, I would have preferred the skin colors of the women to portray their race more accurately. All the women in the book pretty much have the same skin color.Other than that, the book is absolutely wonderful that we have already preordered Eva's next book " A is for Awesome".

I’m a 21 year old with no kids and I am in love with this book! I have been carrying it around with me in my backpack on campus and making my friends read it. It is so precious and the content of the book embodies the reason why I’ve been following Eva Chen for as long as I have even before Ren was born. She is a great mother, influencer, and person. As much as I could list how great of a person she is even without knowing her in real life, I’ll just keep this review focused on the book. This is a book that I highly recommend to any parents! It tells of a character who can be anybody she wants to be and this is special to me personally because my mom always told me this growing up. I was able to feel strength however as a 21 year old reading a children’s book. I can see Ren and Tao, Eva’s adorable kids, being able to read this book as they grow up and garnering strength from it.
