This is a cute book that I bought for my children's church class. I like that there is scripture on each page of the coloring book. I wish the paper was just a bit thicker but it works for colors and colored pencils. The littles really enjoy it and the simple pictures are easy for little hands to color.

This is a perfect coloring book for my 2 year old. When I am doing my daily devotions and writing in my journal he likes to sit beside me and read his bible and has been asking if he can "write/color" too. I am so pleased with this book that has great pictures for coloring along with bible stories.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my grandchildren ....They are happy to have their own coloring books with their name on it. They are twins age 3 - a boy & a girl. Each page to color has the scripture reference so you can read that to them as they color a great casual teaching tool.

Beautiful illustrations but left out the BEAUTIFUL message of the gospel! This storybook bible omits key components of bible stories and makes too much of us and too little of God. I’ll touch on a small handful below (the biggest problem being the presentation of the gospel):Before you read about the crucifixion it says: “This story shows us Jesus understood what it is like to trust God, even when things seem bad.” (Page 182) That’s the summary sentence for the crucifixion story?! Things didn’t SEEM bad, they WERE bad! Jesus (completely innocent and God in flesh) bore our sins in his body on the tree. He drank every last drop of God’s wrath over sin! It doesn’t get worse than that!(I’ve attached the pictures showing how this bible presents and explains the crucifixion of Jesus so that you can see how impersonal and lacking it is.)At the end of this crucifixion story, the take-away for the child to ponder is, “God wants me to trust him - on good days and bad days.” And “Why do you think we have bad days even when we follow Jesus?” (Page 187) The whole gospel message is lost here....This story isn’t about Jesus having a bad day! Nor should we walk away from it thinking that when we have bad days we should respond like Jesus did!Every human being (whether alive now or dead) is going to stand before the judgment seat of God and give an account for our sin. Every single human being is going to fail that test, face the wrath of God, and be separated from God in Hell for all eternity because we are all sinners...BUT BECAUSE OF HIS GREAT LOVE FOR US, GOD, WHO IS RICH IN MERCY, DECIDED TO PROVIDE A RESCUE, A WAY TO SAVE US! The crucifixion story is all about that salvation plan - Jesus willingly CHOOSING to take the punishment in our place, and that if we believe in Him, he forgives us and we are adopted into the family of God as a new creature, robed in Christ’s righteousness. As a result, when believers die and face God, we fear no condemnation because we have an advocate, Jesus Christ, who stands up and says, “No, I took their punishment for them. They are forgiven.”“The Good News is that Jesus did exactly what he said he would do. He rose from the dead!...When the Son of God makes a promise, you can count on it!” (Page 188) The whole point of the resurrection is lost here....the resurrection story isn’t about God keeping his word (although he does keep his word). It’s about the power of Christ defeating Satan! Satan thought he won, He had murdered God! But Jesus conquered death and because he lived, died in our place, and now lives again and is seated at the right hand of God, he is able and willing to forgive all who come to him by faith.“You are a child of God.” (Page 14) - No human is born into this world as a child of God. They must be born again and adopted into his family by faith in Jesus Christ.“I will make a man, but he’s going to be different from all the other animals. He will stand up, he will be able to feel emotion, and he will be in charge of the earth and everything that’s in it.” (Page 15) Although this is all true, it left out a critical component: man is made in the image of God!“God trusts you....the earth isn’t ours, it belongs to God. But he needs us to take care of it.” (Page 18) I can see where they’re going with this because God has entrusted things to us, but it really depicts God as needy and dependent.“There was a snake living in the garden. One day this snake said to Eve, ‘Did God really say that you must not eat the fruit from that special tree in the middle of the garden?’” (Page 23) No mention of Satan, and not what he asked.“God made you so he could love you,” (Page 28) No, he made us to glorify him.Please don’t make the same mistake I did and be fooled by the high ratings and beautiful illustrations.... There are far too many awesome bibles out there for kids that are theologically sound for you to waste your money on this. One suggestion which I own and have read multiple times is, “The Jesus Storybook Bible” by Sally Lloyd-Jones.

The story Bible was very well received by both the children (ages 6 and 4) and Mom and Dad as it is not too long or short and has nice glossy pictures to go with the Bible stories.

Easy to read and understand for my two grandchildren ages 10 & 12. The pictures are colorful and help bring the stories to life. I read it with them. The questions at the end of each story have brought up wonderful discussions that wouldn't have happened otherwise.They are getting to know God and Jesus in a more personal way. And they are learning how much they are loved by Him and how they can have a relationship with Him. We are on Day 20. I hope a "Book 2" is published soon!Also, this book has inspired them to look up the same verses in the "big Bible".

Very rich and we'll done.Not watered down.Wonderful Illustrations that engage our toddler and rich content we will review for the coming years.

This is a great devotional for keeping it simple while emphasizing why the child is important. I’m sad it is only a 40 day book. It would be great to have follow ups after this. Or an extended series as they learn. My 6 year old loves it.

I really like this bible! It has little mini devotions before each story and reflective questions after it. My 4 year old and I are enjoying reading it together.

Every child I have given this book too cannot put it down. They keep reading and reading...thanking God for Rick Warren.

I had several older baskets to sell in an estate sale and had no idea what prices to put on them. Judging on what they are going for on E-Bay, the resale prices in this book are much higher than the asking price of today, but I still found it a useful guide.

I am new to collecting Longsberger baskets, very helpful in identifying items in collection and before purchase as many sellers do not include all information when selling, especially on line. Love it!

Good reference.

I have collected most of the Bentley Guides for Longaberger baskets and the 10th edition is particularly nice due to having tabs to look up certain items. It makes it quicker and more convenient.

This is the first book I've found that has really given me hope. It is up to date and incredibly informative, being written by very credible doctors. I appreciate that it acknowledges the vast amount of misinformation that is spread. It talks about related conditions and life factors that contribute to pain and flare ups.I've always been frustrated that there isn't a clear treatment plan. This is partly because it manifests so differently between women. The plans in this book are meant be done in phases to find what's best for your body. I'm eager to put the dietary and lifestyle advice in this book to use.. I would recommend this to anyone suffering from endo or who is watching a loved one suffer. The introduction is a powerful summation of what endo is and how it affects the body. It is a strong description of endo that loved ones or coworkers or ANYONE could benefit from taking a minute to read. Thank you for this.

I was diagnosed with Endo 7 years ago and have had no relief since. After multiple changes of birth controls and laparoscopies, with no real relief, I decided to try this. After the first month I could tell a HUGE difference. And now, that I am 5 months into it, I have never felt better! Gove it a try ladies! You will be surprised what your diet can do for you! 💗

This book has been very helpful. It is difficult to find practitioners who approach endometriosis holistically, and Dr Cook does. I like that he discusses the benefits and drawbacks of both conventional treatments (excision surgery, ablation surgey, GnRH antagonists, etc). I decided to undergo excision surgery, which I'd been afraid of for awhile, based on some advice in his book. It has been a good decision. I also appreciate the elimination diet he guides you through. I had to adapt month 1 as my body was unhappy with so few carbohydrates, but it has been nice to identify some trigger foods and try to get at the root of my endo related IBS. No program for endo is perfect, as there's no such thing as one-size-fits-all, but this program has helped me more than any other that I have tried.

I’ve struggled with symptoms of Endo for 5 years and counting. I was finally diagnosed at the beginning of this year through laparoscopy. Since the laparoscopy I still have symptoms, possibly even worse than before and found this for an additional resource in addition to my OBGYN and Specialist. The information is beneficial. My husband has also read it, which I think helped him to understand the condition a little bit more. It gives great insight to Endo and tips/recipes for how to cope. I recommend this for anyone who has Endo.

This book is a must have/read for any woman suffering from pelvic pain and endometriosis. It complies information it took me 5+ years to research/learn on my own. Excited to have everything in one book now! Lifestyle education/change is so important for overcoming this terrible disease. Be patient with yourself and remember you can overcome!

I have recently been diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis and there just isn't a lot of info out there this book has really been informative and gives me hope.

Self knowledge is power and knowing if you are doing all for yourself to help eliminate symptoms is a bonus. Has helped a great deal with minimizing some symptoms. Recommend.
